We’re Heading South – to Mystery Bay and Beyond!

Budawang Coast Atlas of Life is extending its wings all the way south to Tilba Tilba and Akolele! For largely historical reasons, our southern boundary was set at Moruya. The new region largely follows natural boundaries, and will mean we can work more closely with Eurobodalla Landcare and other natural history groups in the region. And it provides the opportunity to work with our sister project the Atlas of Life in the Coastal Wilderness in areas of joint interest.

To mark this exciting occasion, we’re hosting a Bioblitz at the stunning Mystery Bay. Our knowledgeable guides include botanist Jackie Miles and naturalist Thomas Mesaglio, and many local naturalists. Over lunch hear from biologist Susan Rhind about the recent discovery of Brush-tailed Phascogales. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow nature lovers, and expand your knowledge of South Coast biodiversity, iNaturalist, and more!
