The ‘Great Southern BioBlitz’, or ‘GSB’ for short, is an international period of intense biological surveying in an attempt to record all the living species across the Southern Hemisphere in Spring.
From November 24-27 2023, join in and photograph plants, birds, animals, insects, sea slugs and more in your own backyard, local park, road reserve, national park and the ocean. Take part in the Moth Night and Sea Slug Census too. Gather a group of friends to explore and photograph together. Teachers, get your children excited to participate.
You have a further 14 days to upload all observations made during this period to iNaturalist.
